The Miami Hurricanes have added transfer defensive tackle Jamil Burroughs from the Alabama Crimson Tide. Burroughs recorded 8 tackles, 2 TFL, 2 quarterback hurries and a sack with the Tide last season. Burroughs didn’t leave the team for on-field reasons but because of a disciplinary incident. The Hurricanes vetted him carefully before making the move. Reports indicate Burroughs is unlikely to be eligible this season, but can pack a serious punch in 2024.
