Over 60 Players have been signed to NFL Contracts from the USFL and XFL with three of those players debuting for their new teams this past weekend during the Hall of Fame game.
The Cleveland Browns sent out Hunter Thedford (Pittsburgh Maulers 2022), Austin Watkins (Birmingham Stallions 2023), and Lorenzo Burns (Birmingham Stallions 22/23) as all three continue their careers and pursue their NFL dreams.
Unfortunately one of these players had their NFL dreams cut short, as Hunter Thedford was cut by the Browns and replaced by Derrick Kelley II an Offensive Lineman who played for the San Antonio Brahmas of the XFL in 2023.
