The mystery team that was involved in the Jonathan Taylor sweepstakes has finally been revealed.
The Green Bay Packers were the team that was battling the Miami Dolphins for the rights to the star running back. Neither team was able to meet the Colts high demands, however.
ESPN’s Stephen Holder was the one to break the news.
NEW: The Packers kind of surprised me as being involved in the Jonathan Taylor talks, but it’s worth noting seeing how Taylor can still absolutely be traded (even while on PUP): https://t.co/DJctrm5xj1

According to Holder, it remains unclear what the Packers offered for Taylor.
It should also be noted that Green Bay still has both Aaron Jones and AJ Dillion under contract and it is not known what Green bay’s interest would be moving forward.
